Placements

Wednesday, November 13, 5pm EST  The 5th Series is done and we are heading back to the hotel for placements.  Stay tuned!
Julie Hogan was the welcoming committee as we entered the hotel.  She relayed to us that the judges have said we should go to dinner
as it will be a couple hours before we have placements.   Now you know what I know :-)
The day was sunny and pleasant.  The dogs were allowed to get two retrieves in the fifth.

Wednesday, November 13, 10:47 am EST  Report from the field.  They have just completed the Water Series.  
It appears that all of the dogs have completed successfully.  The sun has been shining all morning.

Wednesday, November 13, 7:00 am EST
Our forecast includes the chance of seeing the sun today.  Temperatures from 31 to 49 degrees with light and variable winds.
I will call Nadine after the water for an update. 

Tuesday, November 11, 10:00 pm EST 22 dog back to the water!!!  We will caravan from the hotel at 8:00 am to
start by 9:00 am.  We will run the fifth series after the water.

 Tuesday, November 11, 4:45 pm EST The fourth series wrapped up about 3:30.  The dogs were not limited to two
contacts.  The weather remained cool and cloudy.  The fourth series was on a different course from the third series.
There was a slight wind sometimes.  Fifth series callbacks will be posted as soon as I get them

 Tuesday, November 11, 9:00 am EST  Fourth Series callbacks have been given and called in from
 the field from Mary.  They have been posted below.  The weather today is mostly cloudy and there has not
 been any precipitation so far.  About to begin the 4th Series.

Tuesday, November 11, 6:30 am  We will start at 7:30 with dog number 93.  Our forecast is for mostly cloudy
to partly sunny, 25 to 41 degrees and a slight chance of snow.  There are no fourth series callbacks available at this time.
I will call Nadine as soon as they are available.

Monday, 6:45 pm  We finished at 5:00 pm with dog number 88.  It continued to snow most of the day.
The third series course is 14 flags out and 13 flags back over rolling hills. 
If the callbacks are available for the fourth series tonight they will be posted.

Monday, 11:30 am  We have finished the 2nd Series and will be starting the 3rd.  The remaining callbacks
 have been given including one that was omitted in error.  They have been updated below.
 It is snowing steadily and we have received  about 4 inches so far.  Conditions are challenging.

Monday, November 10 5:00 am  We got a covering of snow overnight.  The forecast is for rain and
 snow showers today with a high of 38.  Partial callbacks for the third include 52 dogs with 26 dogs
 to finish the second series this morning.
Sunday Evening:  Finished around 5pm with dog # 78 under Judge Leininger and dog #100 under Judge O'Shea.
The day remained dry but overcast.   Expect to get partial 3rd series callbacks tonight and the
 remainder after the 2nd is finished  tomorrow morning.  Will then caravan to the 3rd series grounds.

Sunday, November 9 - 9:15 am EST:  Finished the 1st series and have given the remaining callbacks.
Dog #30 was run out of order at the end.  The days remains cloudy with temps in the
 mid 40's.  Went right into the 2nd Series.

Saturday, November 8 - 10:30 pm EST:  Partial second series callbacks.  The remainder will be available (hopefully)
Sunday morning after the first series is completed
  Saturday 6:30 pm EST:  The afternoon continued mostly cloudy and cool with a little rain.
  The last dog to run tonight was dog number 100.  If we receive call backs at the banquet they will be posted tonight.

Saturday - 10:30am EST:  Just finished the first full course.  There are 3 courses each with
17 flags.  We went out on course #1, returned on course #2 in the middle, went out again
 on course #3 and returned on course #2.  Dog #31 has had one contact and the Marshal
 was bringing dog #32 to the line.  The weather this morning has been cool and cloudy with temps in
the mid-50's.    We had a little rain but that has subsided and the sun peaks through every now and then.
  The breeze and sun are on and off.  The cover is thigh to waist high
 and a mix of native grasses.   The wind is crossing up or crossing down.  The courses have rolling hills.
  Some monster retrieves.  Dog number 30 will run last per the marshall team.

Friday, Nov 7 at 6:00 Eastern Standard Time - two scratches going into the first series.
  Start time will be 7:30 am and end time will be 5:00 pm.
