Friday, December 12:  Day Five

Placements

1:00 pm - We finished the fifth series about noon.  We should have the placements about 2:00 EST

6:00 am EST - Our forecast for today is a chance of flurries before 1pm, then scattered snow showers.
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 28. West wind between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 10%.


Thursday, December 11:  Day Four
6:30 pm EST - The water series was completed about 4:00.  There was very little breeze today for the fourth series and it was cool.
The callbacks for the fifth series are now posted.  We will start at 8:30 am tomorrow.

1:15 pm EST - Water Series callbacks have been updated below.

11:50 am EST - Have finished the 4th Series.  Waiting for callbacks for the Water Series.
6:15 am EST - Our forecast for today is cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 37. North wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Wednesday, December 10:  Day Three
10:00 pm EST The last of the fourth series callbacks are on the board in the hotel lobby. 56 dogs back to the fourth.

6:00 pm EST  We finished the third series about 4:15 pm and went right into the fourth series. 
Partial callbacks were given and the rest will be posted in the lobby tonight.  It was twenty degrees cooler this morning than it was last night.
We stayed at about 30 degrees all day with a steady breeze - brrrrr!!! 
The course for the third and fourth series go straight out and then takes about a 45 degree angle, like a dog leg.  So depending on where you come down
on the course determines your wind.  The cover was much lighter and allowed for much better gallery viewing.
The last two dogs to run today were numbers 18 and 19.  We will start at 8:00 am tomorrow with dogs 20 and 22.

Finished the 2nd series at 10:10 am (EST)  Callbacks to the 3rd have been updated below.  Moved to the
new grounds for the next series and started the 3rd at about 10:50.  
First course out has 17 flags and the return course has 18.

Tuesday, December 9:  Day Two

We finished about 5:00 with dog #95 under Wilson and #79 under Schoene.  I missed dog number 48 this morning as it ran out of
order in the first series so there are 92 dogs back to the second series.

Notes from the field at 12:20 pm (EST) - The 2nd Series started between 10:30/11am.  The complete callbacks have been updated below.
The temperature is 45 degrees and the rain is steady/driving.

6:30 am (EST)  It is much warmer and wetter today.  Here is the local forecast.  Periods of rain and possibly a thunderstorm.
Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Areas of fog. High near 51. Breezy, with a south wind between 15 and 20 mph.
Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.  We will post the remaining
first series callbacks when they are announced.

 Monday, December 8:  Day One
10:45 pm (EST) - Callbacks through dog number 91 were given at the banquet.  We will start with dog 92 at 8:00 am. 
The Pro Plan high point amateur and puppy awards were given out by Dean Reinke and Pat Bramwell.

Notes from the Field at 5:24 pm - Have completed #91 and have quit for the day.  Everyone is headed back to the
hotel for the Banquet this evening.

Notes from the field at 3:20 pm - Just calling dogs 73 and 74 to the line.  There are a total of 50 flags in one full lap of the course.
We have had a little rain/sleet this afternoon.  The temperature is right around 32 degrees.  There is perhaps about an hour of daylight left.

Notes from the field at 10:30 am -Just called dog #30 to the line under Judge Goode-Wilson.
There are 2 long courses with cover is a mix of tall and mid-height grasses.  There is a true cross wind and conditions are challenging.

 The first day of the NAC will begin cool (23 degrees) with south wind making it feel like 10 degrees.
Chance of precipitation is 30 percent for sleet or snow and we should warm to 33 degrees.  The dogs should love it!
