I was born and raised in New Jersey, and moved to Colorado in 1976. I worked for St. Anthony Hospital in Colorado for almost 32 years, in a variety of non medical positions; however, my passion was Springer Spaniels.  After getting my first Springer, I joined the Rocky Mountain Springer Spaniel Club and got completely hooked on Springers.  I really have to thank John Phillips, and Ron Fiebig, for teaching me so much about the dogs and their natural abilities.  For the longest time I, Dave Scott and Pete Davis was the Rocky Mountain Club.  We put on trials and helped new people learn the sport. I competed in field trials within the Rocky Mountain Interclub with FC/ AFC Fawn haven’s Shining Doc and AFC Fawn Haven’s Increditable PA.  We met lots of new people and had lots of fun. My latest friends include FC Sunrise Zang, and his son Fawnhaven’s Shameless.

I field trialed as an amateur until 2002 when I married Gary Wilson, owner of Sunrise Kennels in Canisteo New York, and became a professional dog trainer.

I have judged field trials from coast to coast and had the opportunity to see many different conditions all over the country. The one thing that is consistent is a good working spaniel that uses its nose and works with his friend to find dinner.

I hope everyone enjoys their dogs and has a great national. Good Luck to all.
