Dates: Field Trial to begin on Fridav Nov. 4th and continue until conclusion. (The proposed Amateur date: Nov, 14th through conclusion. This will give plenty of travel time before the Thanksgiving Holiday. Location: North of Ogden Utah in the Tremonton, Ogden and Logan areas, The headquarters will be located in Ogden which is approximately 45 minutes north of Salt Lake City. We have, with the help of Jerry Livingston also secured grounds in Southern Idaho along with additional grounds in the Logan, Sherwood hills, Ogden (Willard Bay Dog Training area, where the cover is currently thick and 3 feet tall) and surrounding areas in Utah. We have sponsored 3 National Championships in Utah so we will put on a well run trial. I will personally guarantee you will not be disappointed with the accommodations, organization, or the GROUNDS! We will be watching the cover very closely through out the year to be sure the areas we pick will beat your expectations. I promise this cover will not e an issue. We have three bird suppliers lined up. We are currently using Bill Petersen from Mt. Home, Idaho. He produces a medium to small bird with great flying abliity, straight up and then out, very fast birds. The cost will be about $7.50 per bird. we will experiment with birds from all three suppliers before making a decision. The Field Trial area includes rolling hills and flatlands covered with knee to waist high natural CRP grasses. Mother Nature has been very good to us the past few years and the cover is outstanding. All indications lead to another great year for cover. We currently have TEN different areas set aside for us with approximately THREE thousand acres available. We have worked very hard to insure that no one will be disappointed with the cover or the beautiful scenery. Those of you that attended our Fall Trial this year were witness to the outstanding grounds that we will be providing. We are dedicated to provide you the best National Championship Trial Ever. Headquarters: Comfort Suites, Ogden, Utah. Located right off of 1-15 on the 21st street exit. This is a very nice facility, every room is a suite, Holiday Inn Express is located next door. All banquets, Cocktail events and meetings will be on location at the headquarters. President: Robert Child Field Trial Chairman: Larry Buggeln, Asst.
