to the
photos. Sorry so slow. I am working in reverse order from the
fifth
series. Sunday and Monday will be travel days for me. I
will
resume the photo adventure when I get home. Thank you for your
patience. The amendment below, made to the
qualifications
for the 2006 NAC (National Amateur Chamionship) was presented to and
accepted

Friday 1:30 pm EST - All the 12 dogs have completed the trial! I have many photos I will be putting up today and tomorrow, then drive home and put up more photos. Friday 11:20 am EST – Mary has called in. They finished the 5th series about ½ hour ago. Will start the Water Series shortly. There are 12 dogs that get to go for a swim! Thanks to Jim Boone for the use of his cell phone. Fifth series course near the 1st and 2nd series grounds with similar cover. The wind is almost a pure crosswind. Dogs are getting three contacts on average (like the third and fourth series) and usually four dogs are completed per round. Friday 6 am EST Very cold 20
degrees (only
10 with the wind). Sunny and thirty for the high.
Thursday 8:30 pm EST 14 dogs back to the fifth series! Thursday 7 pm EST We finished the fourth series by 5:30. I will post the fifth series as soon as it is available. Thursday 2 pm EST Mary Kemper has just checked in. There are 26 dogs back to the 4th series. The 3rd and 4th grounds are gently sloping and the cover is slightly shorter than the 1st and 2nd series. It is cold with snow off and on. Each course is 15 flags long for a total of 30 with the winds making one course a crossing up wind and the other crossing down. Conditions are tough for the dogs and humans alike. Thank you to Lynn Christen for the use of her cellphone, again! Thursday 6:15 am EST A very cold 28 degrees to start the day. It is more than thirty degrees colder than yesterday morining! The forecast is for mostly cloudy, windy and a chance of flurries. Yesterday at times the rain turned to sleet and then back to rain. Wednesday 7:50 PM EST - 39 dogs back to the third series! Thank you to marshals Barb Granatir and Billie Jo Hopkins for notifiying me. 6:20 PM EST We finished the second series at 4:30. Callbacks for the third series are expected at the Eastern IC Soiree starting at 7:00 I will post them as soon as they are available and pictures later tonight. 1:00 PM EST We finished the first series at 8:45 this morining and went right into the second series. We have a steady rain with crossing upand dwon wind courses. Dogs 66 and 62 were running at 1:00 pm. The rain has finally stopped (for good we hope). The temperatures are dropping by the hour and the wind is picking up. Thank you to Lynn Christen for the use of her cellphone and Bob Montler for the use of his office. 6:30 AM EST It is warm this morning 59 degrees. A storm is expected to come through this morning bringing high winds and much cooler weather Tuesday 10:30 EST Second series callbacks through dog 105 Tuesday 6:00 (EST) We stopped just before 5 pm. The last dog to run was dog 105. We will finish the last seven dogs tomorrow morning. There were few missed birds today, even fewer pickups and some monster retrieves. Thank you to Jerry Barrett, Lynn Christen and George Kittle for letting me use there cellphones as my T-Mobile has no coverage in the Alleghany mountains Tuesday 2 pm - I just
received a call
from Mary. They are calling dog # 70 to the line now.
Tuesday 9:45 am - Mary Kemper
called from
the fields at the NAC with an update. Delegates
